Piano Lesson

Carina Chan has over 10 years of piano teaching experience and guided students to achieve excellence in music festivals and competitions. Carina was also a music festival adjudicator for the Canadian International Music Competition (CIMC).

1) Beginner (Prep Level - Level 3) - $60

2) Intermediate (Level 4 - Level 6) - $70

3) Advanced (Level 7 - Level 9) - $80

4) Professional (Level 10, ARCT) - $90

Vocal Lesson

As a Choir Conductor, Carina leads the Adult Choir and Children's Choir at the Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society (OCMS) organization. She teaches young children Kodaly and Orff (musical teaching approaches), covering various vocal techniques. Carina organizes seasonal performing opportunities to showcase students' talents.

Clarinet Lesson

As a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Music Education in Clarinet, Carina is currently the Principal Clarinetist of the Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society (OCMS) and the Bass Clarinetist of the Markham Winds.

​Carina was the principal (bass and contrabass) clarinetist in the University of Toronto Wind Symphony, studying with Mr. Peter Stoll. 

​

1) Beginner (Age: 9+, Prep - Level 2):$80

2) Intermediate (Level 3 - 5): $90

3) Advanced (Level 6+): $100

Guitar Lesson

Carina has performed with music bands and musicals in her high school. She has arranged pop music tracks into tabs and chords, such as "Fur Elise" by Ludwig van Beethoven,  "Summer Sky" by Henry, "River Flows in You" by Yiruma, and various Christmas tunes. 

​

Carina's guitar lessons includes with the fundamentals, including scales, chords, tuning, arpeggios and rhythm. She would modify lesson materials according to students' capabilities and levels.
